SIM card and battery
• REMOVE THE SIM CARD
If you ever need to remove the SIM card, follow these steps.

Remove the back cover and battery. See “Remove the back cover and battery”
on page 8.

Press the plastic tab of the SIM card holder down.

Gently push the SIM card towards the top of the phone and remove it.
• SET UP YOUR HEADSET
Your phone may come with a headset (HDC-5) you
can use while talking on your phone. The headset
provides convenient hands-free use of the phone.
Connect the headset

Insert the headset plug into the headset jack
in the phone.

Put the round ear bud into one ear.
